Hydroponics for community outreach and food security

It was our pleasure to complete the first of five hybrid hydroponic farms being set up as part if a community outreach and education program in Rustenburg. These farms are being funded by YHA (NPO) and in partnership with them, we at 61Urban are installing and providing training on these urban smart farms. It is our hope that these farms will not only educate and uplift the youth in these communities, but also ensure food security as well as a sustainable future for these young farmers.
